Cheddar Herb Biscuits

Cheddar Herb Biscuits

SERVINGS: 10-12 biscuits

Southern-style biscuits have come a long way from the hard, thin hockey pucks of the antebellum South. These Cheddar Herb Biscuits are light, soft and fluffy. Perfect with a hearty breakfast or your favorite Southern fried chicken. And these come with a dreamy, flavorful, cheddary twist. Enjoy!

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 1 package RFK Southern Biscuit Baking Mix

  • 1 cup whipping cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh rosemary

  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh chives

  • Flour (for light kneading)

  • Biscuit cutter and/or measuring ruler

  • Baking sheet

  • Parchment paper

  • Cutting board

  • Rolling pin

  • Sharp knife

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the Regina’s Farm Kitchen Southern Biscuit Baking Mix with whipping cream, cheddar cheese and fresh herbs. Gently mix until a sticky ball forms. Turn on a floured board, and knead 10 times until dough is no longer sticky.

Use the rolling pin to gently flatten to 1-inch thickness, and cut with floured biscuit cutter. Press together any unused dough and repeat cutting to end up with 10-12 biscuits.

Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly brown. Serve with your favorite Regina’s Farm Kitchen artisan fruit spread!
